What Educated Urban Voters Expect
1. AGGRESIVE
tackling of crime, reducing the crime rate, securing the safety of citizens and
families as they pursue their daily lives.

to race- biased, divisive policies and consequent handouts.
3. EQUAL
opportunities and level playing fields for all Malaysians, irrespective of
ethnicity.

civil rights, social reform and repeal of draconian laws like the Internal
Security Act.

costs of living, the mismatch between the high cost of supplies and foodstuff
and stagnant wages.

away from ideas of minimum wages, but a meaningful decent living wage to
overcome urban poverty.

institutions such as the Police, Judiciary, MACC and Enforcement agencies
should function in a more trustworthy, independent and transparent manner. They
should not be misused as instruments of the state and for political agenda.
